To All Dot Foods Suppliers:

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 2010 Quality & Service Award Winners.  Their exceptional service to Dot Foods enables us to provide a high level of service to our mutual customers, which benefits us all.

2010 QUALITY & SERVICE AWARD WINNERS

• AMAZATTO PASTA - 2ND YEAR IN A ROW

Congratulations to all of the winners for 2010!

These suppliers exceeded the requirements to win the award in the following criteria:

• One year in Dot Foods
• Must ship at least a truck load per week of volume with Dot or attain your sales volume plan with Dot
• An inbound service level above 98.00%
• Special order service level above 98.00% with 24 hour lead-time
• Profitable for Dot
• 100% compliance with GTIN numbers in Dot's system
• All aspects of "supplier identity" go through Dot. These are such things as 100% broker, corporate, and buying group credit, continued support to the distributor at the local level, timely notification of broker and direct rep changes, and all special pricing at the target customer going through Dot.
• Works with Dot on expediting returns and cleaning up dead inventory
• Supplier loads our trucks in under 2 hours
• Successful integration of the following EDI transaction sets in order to interface electronically with Dot: EDI 867 - Sales Reporting; EDI 855 - Price Confirmations; EDI 856 - Advanced Ship Notification; 810/880 - Invoices; 850/875 - POs; along with successful integration of electronic data synchronization specific to Item Maintenance and Pricing via the EDI 879 and 888 transaction sets, or thru other approved Dot electronic communication platforms such as 1Sync.

Our goal with this annual award is to work with our suppliers to improve the service we provide to our mutual customers.  We recognize that we can play a big role in improving this service, and it is a two-way street.  We will be sending notices of the 2011 criteria soon.

If you do not know where your company stood concerning the criteria for 2010, or do not have an active plan towards the various criteria for 2011, please visit with your Dot Foods Business Development Manager to put one together.  Also, we encourage all of you to visit with some of the suppliers that received this award to further learn how they were able to meet our service requirements and enjoy the benefits of doing so.
